Oh hey there! I’m Honor Eastly, the creator of Starving Artist, a podcast about art, money, and how to combine those things. If you’re a creative who’s ever wondered “how the hell do you make this work?!” (like me) then this podcast is for you.

The show is basically an excuse for me to ask successful artists really nosy questions about their financial situation, and record the conversation.

The podcast launched on March 31st, 2017 and debuted at #1 on iTunes in Arts, and #10 on iTunes overall, with over 10,000 downloads in the first week.

The first season features interviews with some of Australia’s most incisive young artists including Frances Cannon, Becky Sui Zhen, Abbey Rich, Wendy Syfret (i-D / VICE) and Steve Roggenbuck (okay, you got me, Steve's American) (shh)

A little about me:
I'm an artist, podcast producer, and honesty enthusiast. My work has been featured by Fairfax, VICE, Daily Life, and The UN. My *other* podcast, Being Honest With My Ex, has scored over 130K downloads, and a fan base loyal enough to pay to have my international co-host (and ex-fiancé) flown to Australia so we could perform a live version of the show. Also Ruby Rose (Orange Is The New Black) once told me "Thank you. For existing." after reading an article about me on i-D.

If you're keen to properly internet stalk me, the best places to do so are at my website, Facebook, or Instagram.

If you sign up to the mailing list, you’ll get all the good oil on Starving Artist, as it happens, what's more, immediately after you hit submit you’ll also get exclusive access to a gif of my housemate’s cat rolling around in a pile of money.
